Summer Intensive

Darul Huda Masjid is pleased to announce its exciting summer program: a 7-week intensive Islamic studies program specifically designed for school-going children. This unique program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Islam while equipping them with invaluable tools to navigate the challenges they encounter in their daily lives at school.

The sign-up fees for the program are kept as a one time payment, making this an affordable opportunity for families to invest in their children's Islamic education. Feel free to contact us for scholarship and financial assistance from our sadaqah fund

Terms and Conditions for Darul Huda Masjid Summer Program

Effective Date: June 2025 – July 2025

1. Registration & Payment

  • The program is open to children aged 5 to 12 years.
  • A non-refundable fee of $150 per student is required upon registration.
  • Payment can be made via PayPal or credit/debit card through our secure online portal.
  • Registration is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.
  • Parents must ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of their children.
  • Absences must be communicated in advance. Excessive absences may result in dismissal from the program.

3. Special Needs

  • If a student has any special needs or medical conditions, parents must inform us in the Other Information section of the registration form.
  • We will make reasonable accommodations where possible.

4. Proper Islamic Attire

  • Students are required to adhere to the guidelines of proper Islamic attire during the program.
  • Boys: Loose-fitting clothing, preferably long pants, a thobe, Kurta-pajama or something similar approved by the Darul Huda Masjid Madrassa Administration
  • Girls: Loose-fitting clothing, including a hijab.
  • Clothing must cover the aurah (parts of the body that must be covered in accordance with Islamic teachings).

5. Excellent Behavior

  • Students are expected to exhibit excellent behavior throughout the program.
  • This includes showing respect towards teachers, fellow students, and staff members.
  • All students must adhere to the rules and regulations set by the school.

6. Disruptive Behavior

  • If a student engages in disruptive behavior that significantly hinders the learning environment or compromises the safety and well-being of others, the school reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action.
  • Disciplinary actions may include:
    • Verbal warnings
    • Reflection sessions
    • Expulsion from the program (in severe cases)
  • The school will make a reasonable effort to communicate any concerns or disciplinary measures with parents/guardians.

7. Classroom & Masjid Etiquette

  • The program will take place inside the prayer area of the masjid.
  • Students must maintain respectful behavior and adhere to masjid rules.
  • No food or drinks are allowed inside the prayer area.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring their children understand and follow these guidelines.

8. Health & Safety

  • While the school will take necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of all students, accidents or unforeseen circumstances may occur.
  • Parents agree to release the school, its staff, and volunteers from any liability in case of injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings during the program.

9. Emergency Medical Treatment

  • In the event of a medical emergency, parents authorize the staff to seek necessary medical treatment for their child.
  • Parents will be responsible for any expenses incurred for such treatment.

10. Photography & Media Release

  • Parents grant permission for the school to photograph or record their child during the program for promotional or educational purposes.
  • The child's identity may be kept confidential if necessary.

11. Parental Communication

  • Parents agree to maintain open and respectful communication with the Maktab and Madrassa administration regarding their child's progress, concerns, or any changes in contact information.
  • Regular updates may be provided through messages or other communication channels.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

  • All personal information collected during registration will be kept confidential and used solely for program administration.
  • We do not share or sell personal data to third parties.
  • Payment details are processed securely through PayPal and card payment providers.

13. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By submitting this form, parents acknowledge that:

  • They have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions.
  • They consent to the collection and use of personal data for program administration.
  • They understand and accept the policies outlined above.
